1. Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio fight for the custody of Dominick

Probably the weirdest match stipulation ever

Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero are two of the best in-ring performers ever. Both men had stolen the show on more than one occasion during their time in WCW and fans were looking forward to seeing what they could do against each other in the WWE.

Unfortunately the WWE are not fans of putting on lengthy wrestling matches based on just the skill of the performers and love to insert tacky storylines. Instead of a jealousy angle or a bitter rivalry they fought over the custody of Rey's son, Dominick.

It all started when Eddie revealed that he was Dominick's father and he was a result of an affair during his wild years. The whole storyline became a huge family affair with Vickie Guerrero and Rey's wife Angie appearing on TV during the angle.

The plot lead to a Ladder match at SummerSlam with Dominick's custody papers hanging over the ring. I don't think you have to be a genius to realize why the stipulation is nonsensical.The fact that a situation that is usually handled in a courtroom can be sorted out in a ladder match is a prime example of how wrestling can be very silly at times. The match itself was very good but some people struggle to see past the ridiculous stipulation.
