Cesaro and Sheamus have been teaming since September 2016

While he is currently one-half of the Raw Tag Team champions with Sheamus, one imagines that Cesaro will be given another run as a singles competitor in the not-too-distant future, possibly after WrestleMania 34.

If and when that happens, the inaugural winner of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal is destined to be better positioned on the card than the last time he was a singles performer, and what better way to elevate him to the next level by having him feud with John Cena?

Real-life friends Cesaro and Cena have met on numerous occasions over the years, most memorably in 2015 when they fought over the United States title, but “The Swiss Cyborg” has never come out on top.

Given the number of people Cena has lost against in recent years, we can’t rule out Cesaro gaining a major statement victory against the 16-time World champion.
