Samoa Joe hasn’t had much luck recently. He missed WrestleMania 33 for storyline reasons, despite being fit and healthy to compete on the show, and there are serious doubts about whether he will feature at WrestleMania 34 due to a foot injury.

On top of the WrestleMania woes, WWE has tried to set up a rivalry between Joe and John Cena on two occasions – post-SummerSlam 2017 and pre-Royal Rumble 2018 – but injuries brought an end to both feuds before they even began.

Alberto Del Rio returning to WWE?

It wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see Cena lose clean to “The Destroyer” when he is fully healed from his latest setback. The only doubt is whether WWE would be prepared to go ahead with the storyline yet another time.
