# 3 Aiden English
Aiden English signed with the WWE in early 2012 and spent four years in developmental, first in FCW and then in NXT.
In NXT, English tasted championship success when, along with his tag team partner Simon Gotch, collectively known as The Vaudevillians, he defeated Blake and Murphy for the NXT Tag Team Championship at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn in 2015. The duo would hold the titles for two months before dropping them to Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder on a November 2015 episode of NXT.
On April 7, 2016, English and his tag partner, Gotch would make their main roster debut on an episode of SmackDown attacking the Lucha Dragons. After Gotch was released by the company in April of 2017, English would transition to being a singles star before he had his breakout moment teaming up with Rusev in the fall of 2017 to form ' Russev Day'.
Rusev Day would become one of the hottest things on the main roster and would give English's ailing career a major boost before the Drama King turned on Russev a few weeks ago on an episode of SmackDown.
Despite challenging for the tag titles on multiple occasions as part of The Vaudevillians and then Russev Day, English hasn't been able to win any Championship on the main roster.
