Gene Snitsky left WWE more than a decade ago
Gene Snitsky may be a name that hasn't aged well over the years, but he is still a superstar who created his own history in the squared circle. Snitsky was a character that fitted in well with WWE throughout the early 2000s and worked very well as a monster.

Shockingly, he was unable to win a Championship throughout the four years he was on WWE's main roster, which ended when he requested his own release back in 2008. Over the past decade, he has worked for TNA and performed for a number of Independent Companies, but he made the decision back in June to end his career inside the ring.
Snitsky made it public that he had decided to hang up his boots but stated that he was still booked for a handful of shows first and that he would fulfill these commitments first.
