On the night that Daniel Bryan announced his retirement in 2016, an incident when the Superstars and Vince McMahon were returning backstage turned out to be a bad one for O'Neil.

O'Neil tugged Vince McMahon's arm while exiting, which led to him being suspended for 90 days which was later cut to 60 days..

Titus doesn't seem to understand what he did wrong, but he says that the incident is in the past: “I still don't understand it. I literally put me my hand out and said, 'Ladies first.' So I don't know what the wrong time is to say, 'Ladies first' or the right time. It's water under the bridge. It happened and I took ownership of it regardless if I was right, wrong, or indifferent, or if the situation could have been handled different. It happened.

"I served my suspension and it's over with. It goes back to the fact that I know who I am and I know what I did and I know why I did it and God has rewarded me tenfold," said O'Neil in an interview with Lillian Garcia (H/T Cageside Seats).

But O'Neil is still with the WWE and has been involved in various charities with WWE.
