The Bloodline Saga is in its official second chapter with Solo Sikoa having replaced Roman Reigns as the leader. So, when The Tribal Chief does return to WWE, the story will likely culminate in a second Civil War between Solo Sikoa's heels and Roman Reigns' babyfaces. The previous Civil War was between Roman Reigns & Sikoa vs. The Usos, where Jey Uso pinned Reigns for the victory.
On the road to the second Civil War, fans can expect to see The Rock play a role. Even if he doesn't work a match, he will be pulling strings to establish his dominance in The Bloodline. Interestingly, almost everyone in this story has at least one direct blood-relative present except 'The Final Boss'. To even it out, The Rock can bring his cousin, Nia Jax, into the storyline.
Now, Nia Jax joining the faction will bring a huge change to its landscape since she will be the first woman to join the storyline, but it might also take away from what she is capable of doing on the women's roster. The Irresistible Force was asked about the same on Battleground Podcast, where she explained that the members of The Bloodline would rather have the women do their own thing than be just a part of a storyline where the men are dominating.
"Obviously it's always a thing because right now I am the female Samoan bloodline in the business right now, then we have Tamina and married-in Naomi. There is that option but I also feel as though like the men, they're doing such a great job and they're doing their own thing. And, I feel as though they want us to have our own thing. They want us to go in our direction and thrive in what we can do," she said.
Nia Jax explained the men are supportive of her acts and matches, and provide her with feedback as well. However, she is not opposed to being a part of the story for a brief period to "kick some b*tt."
How is Nia Jax related to The Bloodline?
The Bloodline was started by Roman Reigns, and then The Usos & Solo Sikoa joined the faction. All four of them are a part of The Anoa'i Family. Prior to WrestleMania 40, The Rock also joined the faction, and Rock is High Chief Peter Maivia's grandson.
Roman Reigns' grandfather, Reverend Anoa'i Amituana'i, and High Chief Peter Maivia were blood brothers. This essentially meant that even though not related by blood, the two families would meld and grow as one. Keeping this in mind, Roman Reigns, The Usos & Solo Sikoa have grown up with The Rock as their cousin.
Nia Jax's father, Joseph Fanene, is High Chief Peter Maivia's first cousin. Hence, she is a direct blood relative of The Rock (second cousin once removed) but considers Roman Reigns, The Usos, and others of The Anoa'i Family as her cousins, too.
