Royal Rumble is scheduled for February 1, 2025, at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The premium live event will set the wheels in motion for the year's storylines, especially with picking two World Title challengers for WrestleMania.

The number of potential challengers from both divisions is significant in numbers. There are several names that could be eligible to become the last superstar standing in the Men's and Women's 'Rumble Matches, respectively. However, the premium live event comes with its shocks, surprise returns, and even potential character changes.

Speaking of the Royal Rumble, fans can expect Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton to join the 30-woman match. Stratton has been in an alliance with WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax for the past few months on SmackDown but the latter has appeared domineering towards the 25-year-old. However, by the time the premium live event comes around, The Irresistible Force could change her demeanor towards The Buff Barbie, and lessen her bullying attitude.

Once Stratton notices Jax has gone soft, she could use the moment to cash in her Money in the Bank contract at the premium live event, to win the WWE Women's Champion. This betrayal could trigger a face turn for Nia Jax.

The WWE Women's Champion has been a heel since November 2019 when she aligned herself with Tamina and attacked Ember Moon ahead of Survivor Series.

Royal Rumble 2025 will mark an important milestone for WWE

WWE RAW is shifting to Netflix from January 2025. The Stamford-based promotion will aim to make the debut show as power-packed as possible and has advertised top superstars such as CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Bianca Belair, among others for the premiere.

Royal Rumble 2025 will be the first premium live event to stream on Netflix. The WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H will leave no stone unturned to ensure that the PLE is an absolute beast of a show, and will try and push more eyes to the product once it moves to the global streaming giant.

John Cena will begin his Farewell Tour in January and is expected to be a part of the Men's Royal Rumble Match next year.
