He's done it before in NXT and FCW, so maybe he can do it again?

The idea of an impromptu match, after four years, for someone like CM Punk, actually weirdly makes a lot of sense.

He's a guy who probably doesn't want any more fuss than is absolutely necessary, which we've seen in the last few days when he stated that he'd rather be the first fight on the Fight Pass prelims as opposed to being on the main card of UFC 225.

Anyway, in terms of this match, perhaps he could go against someone like Flip Gordon. After all, Flip has been desperate to get booked for months now, and it could be a nice return match for Punk.

Who knows, maybe if it winds up being his last ever professional wrestling outing, he could even put Flip over.
