It remains unclear exactly how long Brock Lesnar has left on his new WWE contract, with conflicting reports stating that it’s either a multi-year deal or he could be on his way out of the company after this year’s SummerSlam event in August.
If the multi-year reports are correct, with Lesnar splitting his time between WWE and UFC, then that opens up the very real possibility that a fantasy match against Daniel Bryan could take place at WrestleMania 35.
WWE reportedly planned the match for SummerSlam 2014 – the show where Lesnar dismantled John Cena to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship – but Bryan was unable to compete due to injury problems.
Now that D-Bry has been cleared to wrestle again, there would arguably be no more popular match in New Jersey next year than “The Beard” vs. “The Beast”.
