John Cena (American) married Shay Shariatzadeh (Canadian)
WWE wrestler John Cena has become a Hollywood star in the past few years. He met his wife Shay Shariatzadeh while filming his movie Playing With Fire in Canada.
Shariatzadeh was born in Iran but is a Canadian citizen. According to her LinkedIn, she is a University of British Columbia alumni and holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. She has been working at Microsoft as a Program Manager since April.
Cena and Shariatzadeh tied the knot last October after dating for over a year. The couple held their wedding ceremony in Tampa, Florida.
The 16-time World Champion recently returned to WWE after more than a year of absence. He made a surprise appearance at Money in the Bank following Roman Reigns' Universal Title match victory over Edge. He later challenged Reigns for his title. The two superstars will square off at SummerSlam for the Universal Championship.
If Cena succeeds in his mission to beat The Tribal Chief and capture the Universal title, he will become the first-ever 17-time World Champion in WWE history.
