Black is from Zaanstad, Netherlands. He worked in different promotions in Europe, Japan, and the United States before signing with WWE in 2016. The Dutch superstar excelled on NXT, winning the NXT Championship in April 2018.
A year later, Black moved to Monday Night RAW. He teamed up with Ricochet to chase the RAW Tag Team Titles, but they came up short. In October 2020, the 36-year-old was drafted to SmackDown, where he made a few appearances before being released last June.
