The Club is officially back together. AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, the former members of the hugely popular and one of the biggest stables in pro-wrestling today, The Bullet Club, have formed The Club in WWE. While, their initial appearances were quite awesome, they’ve fallen victim to questionable booking decisions recently. What could have become a strong heel stable is jobbing to the Rock’s cousin.
However, there must be a reason why the two were signed to the WWE and we hope it’s not to job to Roman Reigns. However, their future doesn’t look that bleak, the two were amazing in New Japan Pro Wrestling and we’re hoping that they will replicate the same in WWE.
Here are the five possible angles for The Club:
#5 Bring Finn Balor into the main roster and have them turn heel
Finn Balor, who was billed as Prince Devitt in New Japan Pro Wrestling, was the leader of The Bullet Club before he left and AJ Styles took over. With Balor and Styles being the co-leaders of The Club, one could only imagine how dominant and awesome they’ll become given the right push as a full fledged heel stable. It would be like an amalgamation of The Shield and nWo.
Anyone who dares to stand in their path will be destroyed. They will take over WWE and listen to no one, not even Mr. McMahon, Shane or The Authority. WWE fans just can’t wait for Finn Balor’s main roster debut and when he does, he might join and become the co-leader of The Club, which has the potential to become one of the most dominant factions in the history of WWE and join the ranks of nWo.
#4 Induct Seth Rollins, feud with the Authority and have them win the three main titles
Seth Rollins is going to return to action pretty soon. You can bet that when he returns, he’s not going to be very pleased with the Authority for offering the title to Roman Reigns after he got injured. Seth Rollins is perhaps the best in the current roster and he’s proved his mettle as a heel even without The Shield. Rollins will fit right in the The Club. If Finn Balor is not brought in soon, Seth Rollins could become the co-leader of the faction.
I know a lot of people don’t like The Authority gimmick, but with the right booking decisions, this could be a nice feud. Besides, Triple H vs Seth Rollins was going to happen, but that had to be called off because of Rollins’ injury. It could be just like the time when the nWo inducted Shawn Michaels. Moreover, people are going to get behind The Club even more if Seth Rollins joins them.
Having them win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Intercontinental Championship and the WWE World Tag-team championships will make them look even more dominant. It will make for an amazing angle.
#3 Feud with The Wyatt Family
How many times have we seen heel factions face each other? Here’s how I see this playing out, The Club is going to start targeting babyfaces and begin making it’s name as a faction to be feared. The Wyatt Family isn’t going to like this and will attack The Club, leading to an awesome feud.
Besides, we’d love to see Bray Wyatt take on AJ Styles. With either Rollins or Finn(maybe even both) in The Club, they will surely give the Wyatt Family a run for their money.
#2 Feud with The Shield
Almost every current WWE fan’s dream. This is going to be one heck of a feud, if it ever happens. The Club, being the ruthless heel faction that they are, begin taking every wrestler in their path, even Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, forcing them to join forces for the common purpose of taking down The Club.
AJ Styles and Seth Rollins, the architects and most talented members of their respective factions, Roman Reigns and Luke Gallows, the powerhouses, and Dean ”Lunatic Fringe” Ambrose and The Machine Gun, Karl Anderson are all perfect for each other.
As unlikely as this sounds, we all want to see them face each other.
#1 Shane vs Stephanie and Triple H feud
Shane and Stephanie seem to be on the same page even though it seemed as if Shane wanted to remove Stephanie and Triple H from power. However, one does get the feeling that this is not going to last long and will lead to a bitter power struggle. It was hard to understand how suddenly they became so supportive of each other when, a few weeks ago they hated being in each other’s presence.
Stephanie and Triple H will acquire the services of The Club to do their bidding, forcing Shane to form a faction of his own, with Finn Balor as its leader. Other possible members include the Young Bucks, should they sign with WWE. This will make for another incredible feud, with the former leaders of the Bullet Club going at it against each other.
