WWE WrestleMania IX is remembered for a lot of things - the togas, the broadcasting debut of Jim Ross and Hulk Hogan defeating Yokozuna for the WWE Championship in less than a minute.

One thing you probably don't remember is a match between Papa Shango and 'El Matador' Tito Santana. And the reason you won't remember it is because, unless you were in attendance at the show itself, you didn't see it!

Santana faced the Voodoo Master that evening in a dark match to open the show for the live crowd. Something else you didn’t see unless you were in attendance that day was Santana’s one-off attire.

Instead of the usual green tights with gold trim, El Matador wore all gold tights, which fit in well with the Greek theme of the show.

The match could at one time be found in the Hidden Gems section of the WWE Network. It was also, unofficially, the first pay-per-view match that Jim Ross ever called for WWE. His commentary can be heard on the match footage.
