#1. WWE legend The Rock
The Rock is arguably the greatest WWE Superstar in the company's history. The Brahma Bull made his in-ring debut at the 1996 Survivor Series pay-per-view. Nearly four months later, he captured his first title when he defeated Triple H for the Intercontinental Championship on Monday Night RAW.
The Rock was not very popular among the fans during his first WWE days. Hence, he turned heel and joined The Nation of Domination in 1997. He later became the leader of the group after overthrowing Farooq. During the Attitude Era, The Great One led The Nation of Domination into a historic feud with D-Generation X.
In late 1998, The Nation of Domination disbanded. The Rock then started chasing the WWE Championship. Over the next four years, he won nine world titles and became a mega-star in Vince McMahon's company. He also had several historic feuds with legends like Mankind, Triple H, and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
The Brahma Bull left WWE in 2004 to pursue an acting career in Hollywood. Since then, many have expressed their desire to see him enter the WWE Hall of Fame. In 2015, rumors suggested that WWE wanted to induct The Rock into the Hall of Fame. The former WWE Champion addressed these rumors in an interview with Digital Spy.
"That would be great, sure, but I would have to speak to Vince [McMahon] first. I'm not quite too sure if... am I allowed to be inducted in and still come back to wrestle? I don't know. We'll see!" he said.
Today, several Hall of Famers are active competitors in WWE. Hence, The Rock has nothing to fear. He can enter the Hall of Fame class of 2022 and compete whenever he wants.
