#2 Emma

Former WWE superstar, Emma

On January 13, 2014, Emma became the first Australian woman to compete in main roster WWE.

However, Emma's tenure on the main roster was short lived and she returned to NXT where she achieved much greater success including a much heralded match with undefeated act, Asuka.

A back injury halted Emma's progress when she returned to mainstream WWE television and she seemed headed for a repackage when vignettes debuted on television hyping her new character, Emmalina.

Strangely though, the character lasted only one segment before she renounced it herself and reverted back to her Emma persona.

The story was that WWE had lost faith in Emma's capability to portray the character so it was scrapped.

The writing was on the wall from that point on and despite her being a very capable performer, Emma was cut from the promotion in October 2017 and now currently competes for Ring of Honor.
