The entrances at big professional wrestling events are always a big deal. Triple H, John Cena, and The Undertaker all have had some of the best entrances in professional wrestling - especially at WrestleMania. Professional Wrestling has always relied on popular culture references to connect with audiences. But it's rare that wrestling has referenced Star Trek.

A true homage

Brandi Rhodes was decked out as Seven of Nine from Star Trek: Voyager, while Cody Rhodes had "Captain" written on the back of his belt, which was possibly a reference to Star Trek: The Next Generation. Does that make Cody Rhodes a Captain Picard mark? It's unclear, but it's still pretty cool to see Star Trek heavily referenced in this arena (I like Star Trek).

Cody Rhodes has always been a huge pop culture fanatic. He's a known comic book fan and it heavily influenced his Stardust gimmick. He turned that gimmick into something fascinating and he even had a "comic book" type of feud with Arrow star Stephen Amell.

While the entrance was awesome, the match was fantastic, thanks to a little help from WCW Legends like Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard.
