The Women’s wrestling in NXT is something that received truckloads of appreciation and Sara Amato is one of the biggest reasons behind this. She had a great wrestling career that spanned for more than a decade. During her active years, Sara wrestled all over the world and worked with some notable promotions that include Shimmer, Chikara, and Ring of Honor.
In 2012, she joined WWE as an NXT trainer and became the first ever female trainer in the developmental territory. She had a huge hand in the rise of names like Sasha Banks, Bayley, Charlotte, Becky Lynch and many others and as a result, she got promoted as the NXT assistant coach when Bill DeMott resigned.
