Followers of Bruce Prichard’s content over the last few years will probably have spotted that a picture of his swollen eye – caused by Brock Lesnar – can be seen in the background when he talks on camera in his home office.

Speaking on a Bob Holly episode of his Something to Wrestle With podcast, Prichard denied that anybody was at fault when Brock Lesnar broke Holly’s neck in a match on SmackDown in September 2002.

Using his own injury experience with Brock Lesnar as an example, the WWE director revealed that The Beast stayed in touch with him for several days after accidentally kicking him in the face while filming something for WWE.

“Brock Lesnar kicked my face in. He kicked a wall in and kicked my face in. By the time I made it home, Brock Lesnar had [sent] s*** in my house and making jokes and calling me and apologizing and checking on me damn near every f***ing day.”

Prichard also said that Brock Lesnar is a “good guy” in real life, even though the eight-time WWE World Champion might not like people to have that perception of him.
