#1 - Seth Rollins debut was pushed back
The Shield made an incredible impact when they debuted, but Seth Rollins revealed that it was meant to happen earlier. They were meant to help CM Punk at Hell In A Cell, but WWE decided to go with Brad Maddox instead.
The trio eventually debuted at Survivor Series and went on to become one of the best factions in the company's history. Recalling wait backstage at Hell In A Cell, Rollins said on the E&C's Pod of Awesomeness:
Meet John Cena's dad HERE
"We were supposed to debut at the Hell in a Cell, like a month before Survivor Series. We were all at the PPV excited, didn't really know what was going on, nobody was really talking to us and we were there, and we were ready to do something but we didn't know what was gonna happen or anything like that." The Shield had a really good run before Seth Rollins turned on his brothers. The trio had small reunions between 2017 and 2019 before Dean Ambrose left the company.
