Roman Reigns and Jinder Mahal had a feud in 2018. I think this one sentence alone can make you understand just how bad this was. After a disastrous main event clash with Samoa Joe at Backlash, Reigns needed a different opponent before moving on to Bobby Lashley which eventually lead to Brock Lesnar. Who was chosen as a desperate attempt to get Roman cheered? Jinder Mahal.

Their feud began when Mahal cost Reigns a Money in the Bank qualification match against Sami Zayn and Finn Balor. Roman would attack him backstage and a match between the two was booked at Money in the Bank. The match went on for 15 excruciating minutes. The highlight of the match came when Sunil Singh stood up from his wheelchair, where he was feigning an injury, and Corey Graves shouted out "It's a Miracle." Except for that the match was forgettable and filled with rest holds. Reigns won after hitting a spear and pinning Mahal clean.

This match did nothing for either men as the Big Dog would have gone on to challenge the beast whether he beat Jinder or not and Jinder just got stuck in limbo never to appear on PPV again.
