After a ten-year absence from WWE, Bobby Lashley made a triumphant return in front of a sold-out crowd the night after WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans. He initially left WWE in 2008 after making his last on-screen appearance in 2007, and had undergone surgery before being granted his release.
Lashley kept his stock high after departing, appearing for Strikeforce and Bellator, trying his hand at MMA, and also spending a number of years performing for IMPACT Wrestling.

In the 'Battle of the Billionaires' at WrestleMania 23 in Detroit, Donald Trump and Vince McMahon selected a WWE Superstar to represent them in the match. The losing billionaire would have to get his head shaved bald in the middle of the ring.
Vince McMahon selected Umaga, while Trump selected Bobby Lashley. Lashley was victorious with a little help from the special guest referee for the match, Vince McMahon's long-time arch nemesis, Stone Cold Steve Austin.
It is an iconic moment that will live long in the memory of WWE fans and WrestleMania history, Lashley, along with Austin, and Trump, shaved his boss' head bald in front of 80,000 fans.

Striking a deal with The Miz who cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Drew McIntyre after Lashley took him out, The All Mighty One faced The Miz for the WWE Championship at RAW.
Lashley defeated The Miz to become the WWE Champion for the first time in his career, and also defended the title at WrestleMania 37 by defeating Drew McIntyre.
