Looking back at Asuka's streak, the women who came the closest to putting an end to it was NXT's, Ember Moon. The duo's rivalry was one of the brand's best storylines in 2017 and was only cut short due to an injury to Asuka and her subsequent call-up to the main roster.

Ember is currently the NXT women's champion and she got the chance to make a brief cameo in the women's Rumble match, briefly reigniting her feud with her old nemesis. Moon has to be considered one of the prime candidates for a call-up after this year's Wrestlemania and a fresh face arriving and ended Asuka's streak would instantly establish her as a star on the main roster.
The history between the two would instantly make their feud relevant and a series of matches, culminating in Ember finally overcoming Asuka would make a great story.
