I think WWE has a very rare opportunity with Kevin Owens. With his recent feud with Shane McMahon, representing NXT at TakeOver: War Games and occasional worked shoot promos, Kevin Owens could be WWE's next big anti-establishment superstar.

This is a huge fan favorite gimmick that has been bestowed on some of wrestling's most popular stars of all-time such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, DX, the nWo, CM Punk and today with Becky Lynch. Although KO is currently feuding with RAW's top heel Seth Rollins as of this writing, his anti-establishment ways have taken a back seat lately.
Other than a big of a change in promos to help bring KO back up, another big way to do so is for Owens to win the Royal Rumble match. Owens would instantly shoot up to the top and could be a worthy adversary to Brock Lesnar. With KO having been a heel for most of his WWE run, he is one of very few superstars to not have had the opportunity to step into the ring with Brock Lesnar.
Kevin Owens is capable of being the next big rebel in WWE, but could use the help of a Royal Rumble victory and WrestleMania Championship match with Brock Lesnar.
