As of now, this matchup doesn't appear likely to happen any time soon. With Bryan being part of the Smackdown Live brand and Balor being a part of the Raw brand, they are on different professional trajectories. Their size and stature are similar, as is their fighting style gave their mutual propensity for strikes and kicks, not to mention they both take risks and demonstrate great sacrifice.

For Balor and Bryan to face one another, given their similar levels of experience, the determining factor would be who makes the least amount of mistakes.
