4. Kurt Angle vs Triple H - 2001 Royal Rumble
It is a shame that for all their time in the WWE, Kurt Angle and Triple H never had a proper face vs heel feud. The duo first came to blows during a heel vs heel angle with Triple H resenting Angle's attention towards his wife Stephanie McMahon.
While that feud sort of made Triple H a tweener, he was right back into full-time heel mode months later when he was revealed to be the mastermind behind the kayfabe hit-and-run assault on Stone Cold Steve Austin.
During this time, heel Kurt Angle had captured the WWF Championship and a title match was set up between Angle and Triple H for the 2001 Royal Rumble with Triple H simultaneously feuding with Austin.
The match also featured Angle's ally Trish Stratus confronting Stephanie while Vince McMahon and Stone Cold provided distractions. The match should have been a car wreck - but the amazing chemistry of Angle and Triple H made it an exciting one.
The heels fought it out for 25 minutes before Angle scored the win over a fallen Triple H to retain the title.
