The match began even before the cage was lowered, as the women fought into the crowd. Both women were fighting, and the match technically hadn't even started!
Eventually, Charlotte delivered a powerbomb to the champion through the announce table. It appeared Sasha wouldn't be able to continue, as she was being strapped to a stretcher, but that quickly changed.

As the announcement was about to be made that the title was going to be awarded to Charlotte, Banks had a rush of adrenaline and charged into the ring. The match was revolutionary as it was the first time a women's Hell in a Cell match had ever taken place.
The story told was incredible. It was all about how much heart Banks had, and what Charlotte would be willing to do in order to capture the title. Banks took a number of risks through the match, including a suicide dive through the ropes and being on the receiving end of a monkey flip into the cage, landing back and head first.
Charlotte eventually came out the victor after the abuse to Banks' back proved to be too much.
