Edge got his monicker of the Ultimate Opportunist for many reasons. One of them was his Money in the Bank cash in at New Year's revolution 2006. John Cena had to endure five other Superstars in a grueling Elimination Chamber match in the main event. After the Chamber match was over, Cena's face was covered with his blood. However, just before the show went off the air, Vince McMahon came to the arena and announced that the first ever Money in the Bank contract winner Edge would cash in his contract on John Cena then and there.

This one was a genuinely surprising and brilliant moment. This was the first ever Money in the Bank cash-in, so the fans had no idea how it worked. Edge came into the ring and speared the Cenation leader twice to win his first ever World championship in WWE.
