Surprisingly there has only been one one-on-one match between Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins, and there was no decisive winner.
The two battles for Rollins WWE Championship at WWE Battleground in 2015, only to be interrupted by a returning Undertaker, causing a DQ ruling in favour of Lesnar. Brock and Taker would feud, Rollins would get injured and surrender his Championship, and ever since Lesnar became Universal Champion, Rollins is one of the remaining big names in WWE who has yet to challenge The Beast for the big red belt.
The Battleground match between them was decent at the time, going just 9 minutes, but Rollins wasn't given much leeway in showing what he could do against Lesnar. Seth has only become even better since then, and could easily give Lesnar a run for his money. After his string of solid WWE Intercontinental Championship matches and 65-minute gauntlet performance on RAW earlier this year, Rollins deserves to move up to face Brock.
With Rollins no longer Intercontinental Champion, what better feud to move onto than with The Beast?
