Sheamus is one of the finest brawlers that WWE has at present. He has carved a niche for himself ever since he stepped foot in the WWE. He has won multiple championships including the WWE Championship, the World Heavyweight Championship, the United States Championship and the Raw Tag Team Championship.
He also has several other records to his credit, which includes winning the Royal Rumble, the King of the Ring, Money in the Bank and various Slammy awards. Sheamus holds a variety of innovative and offensive moves to his credit. All this combined together had made him one of the best performers in the last decade.

# 5 Money in the Bank winner
In 2015 WWE conducted its sixth ever Money in the Bank (MITB) PPV. The MITB match had seven players and all with different track records. Sheamus competed against the likes of Dolph Ziggler, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Kane, Kofi Kingston and Neville. The winner was stipulated to get a World Championship match, which he could utilize anytime in the next year.
The match lasted nearly twenty-one minutes and was action packed. Each wrestler tried everything possible to annihilate and defeat his fellow competitors. In the end, Sheamus battled all the odds and went on to win the match and the contract.
He later cashed in his contract against Roman Reigns and became the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at the Survivor Series PPV.
#4 Sheamus vs John Cena - WWE Championship
Not many wrestlers in the WWE have had the chance to beat John Cena. Sheamus faced John Cena at the first ever TLC PPV for the WWE Championship. The two had an ongoing rivalry and Sheamus won a Battle Royal to face Cena for the Championship.
Sheamus and Cena squared off in a table match. To win the match, either of the players had to drop their fellow competitor through a table first. They both showed intense zeal and perseverance throughout the competition. In the end, Cena and Sheamus were at the top of the turnbuckle and it was Sheamus who dropped Cena first, thus winning the match.
This made Sheamus the first ever Irish born WWE Champion.
#3 King of the Ring 2010 winner
King of the Ring is a tournament organized by WWE where several wrestlers compete to determine and establish ultimate supremacy in the WWE. Every wrestler has to win a series of matches to advance to the next stage of the tournament. Whoever wins the tournament, gets the recognition and stature of a 'king', is crowned and given a throne like an actual king.
In 2010 King of the Ring tournament, Sheamus competed and won against R-Truth and Kofi Kingston in subsequent matches and qualified for the final match. He faced John Morrison in the final encounter and defeated him. He thus won the tournament and joined the league of very esteemed Superstars in the WWE to be crowned King of the Ring.
This victory consolidated his position at the top of the WWE.
#2 Royal Rumble 2012 winner
Royal Rumble is a marquee match that takes place once every year in the WWE. The winner gets to challenge the World Champion of his choice at WrestleMania.
Sheamus competed in the 30- man Royal Rumble match in the year 2012. His entry number was 22. He remained in the game for nearly twenty-three minutes and eliminated three Superstars. He last eliminated Chris Jericho and won the match.
He is the 2nd ever player till date in the history of WWE to enter the Royal Rumble at number 22 and win the contest, after Triple H did it in the 2002 Royal Rumble. He went on to face Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 28 for the World Heavyweight Championship.
#1 Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan - World Heavyweight Championship
Having won the Royal Rumble, Sheamus was scheduled to face Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. The two had verbal tradings and attacked each other as a part of their ongoing rivalry. Finally, the two men faced each other for the Championship in one of the shortest matches ever in WrestleMania history.
Daniel Bryan was accompanied by AJ Lee who gave him a good luck kiss for the match. As soon as Bryan turned to the other side, Sheamus delivered a brogue kick and pinned him. He won the title in just 18 seconds, in one of the shortest title matches ever in WWE history. Thus, Sheamus created history at WrestleMania.
All these matches clearly cement his position as a great entertainer over the past decade and a terrific competitor in professional pro-wrestling.
