#3 Roman Reigns - 2014
The 2014 Royal Rumble match was a memorable one, but unfortunately one of the biggest memories was all the fan displeasure. This match did not feature one of the, if not THE hottest superstar, Daniel Bryan. The fans were very vocal with their displeasure when Rey Mysterio came out at number 30.
Their anger was not pointed at Rey, but at the fact that Daniel Bryan was not in the match. The fans would soon be disappointed again when CM Punk was eliminated. Kane returned to ringside after being eliminated earlier in the match, and pulled Punk over the top rope to eliminate him after Punk had made it all the way to the final four.
What else made this Royal Rumble match so memorable? Roman Reigns made his Royal Rumble debut. His performance could be seen as the most dominant performance in a single Rumble match of all time. Reigns entered at number 15, the halfway point of the match. He went on to set the record for most eliminations in a single Rumble match with 12 eliminations, including his two Shield partners, whom he eliminated in one shot.
He lasted until the very end of the match where he came in second place when he was eliminated by Batista. Even though he did not win the match, Reigns' dominating performance earned him the title of one of the greatest performances in the history of the Royal Rumble.
