#3 WWE Draft episodes on Monday Night Raw
The annual WWE Draft gives WWE a freshening up and a chance to go in a few directions when it comes to Raw and SmackDown.
It has brought some surprising moments. Remember when then-WWE Champion John Cena was the first draft pick in 2005?
The WWE Draft now occurs over two episodes, one on Raw and one on SmackDown. The Draft is ever-popular with fans and leads to plenty of speculation and fantasy bookings leading up to the event.
Generally speaking, the Draft usually does well for WWE in terms of TV ratings and interactions on social media.
#2 Old School Raw/Raw Reunion's
Now, these are the nights that really captivate the WWE Universe, to reminisce and have some nostalgia. Seeing some of your old favorites from years gone by really does bring out the feel-good factor.
WWE has made a habit of having episodes such as Old School Raw and Raw Reunion's in recent times, to bring back and honor some of the Superstars from WWE's past to Monday Night Raw. The episodes themselves do nicely as well for WWE in terms of viewership across all platforms.
The Raw Reunion from July 2019 in Tampa, FL gave WWE one of the best TV ratings that year. It featured a whole host of names including John Cena, Ric Flair, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Rikishi, Kelly Kelly and more.
It'll be great to see another one of these types of episodes in the near future, once we get back to normal and fans are back in attendance.
#1 Raw Roulette
Back in 2002, then Raw General Manager decided to spice things up a little when Monday Night Raw headed to Las Vegas. A large roulette wheel was created with a number of stipulations on it, and the roulette wheel would essentially be the booker for the night.
The unpredictability adds a lot of excitement not knowing what stipulation the wheel is going to throw out there. The concept has only been used in a few episodes of Raw, usually when WWE heads to Las Vegas, but it would be great to see Raw Roulette a lot more to add some unexpected matches to an episode of Raw.
The most famous moment from a Raw Roulette episode came from CM Punk when he sat on the Raw stage and delivered his 'Pipebomb', which changed the whole game for WWE that summer.
Here's to hoping WWE introduces more special-themed episodes that have a fresh concept and make the content more entertaining.
