Brock Lesnar's rivalry with Seth Rollins was good, yet it wasn't his best one of the year as Rey Mysterio topples Rollins as the best adversary of Lesnar in 2019 in a feud that was actually Brock's best program in years.
It all began all the way back in September when Lesnar attacked Mysterio before his Universal Title match against Seth Rollins on Raw. The rivalry became even more personal with the inclusion of Cain Valesquez, who Brock defeated at Crown Jewel for the WWE Title.
A throwback to the iconic David vs Goliath concept, Mysterio's retaliation on Brock for his attacks on The Masked Luchador's son again turned him into the most beloved Superstar on the roster. His beating of Lesnar with a lead pipe actually made people think that he might beat The Beast for the WWE Title at Survivor Series,
Their match, while short, was exactly what it should have been. Lesnar dominated Rey for the first 3 quarters, with the challenger making a comeback with the help of his son and almost dethroning the champion before Brock brought an end to Rey's fairy tale run and ended another year as a World Champion.
