#4 Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown at WWE Survivor Series 2016
In 2016, WWE brought back the draft.
Mr. McMahon initiated the idea, where both Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon would take control of each brand. Shane was assigned to take over SmackDown, while Stephanie would run RAW.
At Survivor Series 2016, Team RAW included Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman. Team SmackDown had Shane himself, AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt.
This was a match that delivered epic eliminations and moments. The first elimination came when Styles ambushed his partner, Ambrose, thus leading RAW member Braun Strowman to hit a running powerslam and eliminate Ambrose. Strowman would then be eliminated by getting counted out. Eliminations for Team RAW would then get worse when both Owens and Jericho faced elimination, leaving RAW at a four-on-two disadvantage.
One huge spot in the match was where Shane attempted a coast to coast on Roman, only to get speared mid air. Shane would suffer elimination by technical knockout.
The moment of the match was when fans saw The Shield have a brief reunion together by delivering a triple powerbomb to Styles on the announcement table. The moment led to Rollins eliminating Styles, evening the teams two on two.
With the final four being Reigns and Rollins from RAW and Orton and Wyatt from SmackDown, Orton and Wyatt were the final survivors as Wyatt would eliminate both Rollins and Reigns.
