#3 Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown at WWE Survivor Series 2005
The first time RAW and SmackDown ever went at it in a traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match style was in 2005. Team RAW had Shawn Michaels, Kane, Big Show, Carlito and Chris Masters and Team SmackDown had Batista, Rey Mysterio, Bobby Lashley, JBL, and Randy Orton.
RAW got the upperhand when SmackDown's Team Captain, an injured Batista, was eliminated midway through the match by Big Show. From there SmackDown's remaining members, Mysterio, Orton, and JBL had to strategize. The three of them teamed up on Big Show, who was the biggest threat from Team RAW. After Mysterio pulled an upset by eliminating "The World's Largest Athlete," everything was game.
SmackDown would make a comeback by eliminating Carlito and Chris Masters, leaving Shawn Michaels in a three-on-one situation. Michaels did not go down easily as he eliminated both Mysterio and JBL in spectacular fashion.
Unfortunately for The Heartbreak Kid, JBL interfered, leading Orton to deliver an RKO and give SmackDown the Survivor Series win.
