#2 Austin's Team vs. Bischoff's Team at WWE Survivor Series 2003
WWE Survivor Series 2003 is one of the most underrated elimination matches of all time. Throughout 2003, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Eric Bischoff were both co-general managers for WWE's Monday Night Raw.
As both had numerous disagreements, Bischoff decided to challenge Stone Cold to a Survivor Series Elimination Match. Both General Managers had to gather five members for their teams.
Bischoff's team included Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Christian, Mark Henry, and Scott Steiner. Austin's team included Shawn Michaels, Booker T, Rob Van Dam, and The Dudley Boyz.
The stipulations for this match would shape the direction of RAW forever. If Austin's team won, Stone Cold would finally be able to raise hell and put his hands on any wrestler without being physically provoked. If Bischoff's team won, Stone Cold would have to resign as RAW General Manager and leave the WWE.
The match started at a steady pace with some trades of eliminations until Bischoff's team started to gain an advantage after Shawn Michaels was the remaining member of Austin's team, while Bischoff's team still had Orton, Jericho, and Christian. Michaels gave such a heroic and dramatic performance. He would eliminate both Christian and Jericho, making the match now one-on-one.
As Michaels looked to finish off Orton, Bischoff hit Michaels from behind with a martial arts kick. With Stone Cold being frustrated at Bischoff's antics, he entered the ring and put a beating on Bischoff.
As the beatdown continued at the ramp, Evolution member Batista laid Michaels out with a Batista Bomb, giving Orton the final pin, and team Bischoff the win.
