Samoa Joe is one of the most charismatic wrestlers on the planet today, as there isn't one thing Joe can't do on the mic and in the ring. From elevating the Universal Title in his feud with Brock Lesnar back in 2017 to rescuing AJ Styles monotonous WWE Title reign, Joe is a man born to be champion.

WWE finally realized that when they put the US Title on Samoa Joe, as it is not even a few weeks since Samoa Joe won the title and the man is already raising eyebrows with the work he has put into his reign.

While Joe is all the way on Smackdown Live and Reigns is on Raw this a match that could take place if WWE wanted as the announcement that Rey Mysterio will take on Samoa Joe at Wrestlemania left many confused.

This was a match that literally came out of nowhere, as Joe and Mysterio's rivalry over the past few weeks did not feel like it warranted a title match at WrestleMania, and to be honest, this is a match that most likely won't happen in its single match format.

As you can expect the likes of Andrade, R Truth, Mustafa Alli and a whole host of other Smackdown superstars to get involved in the build-up to this match. This leaves Samoa Joe possibly stuck in the middle of a multi-man feud, which is a waste of his talents at WrestleMania.

Reigns and Joe have a storied history with one another which warrants a match between the two stars, and while some of you may not remember WWE did leave the story thread of Samoa Joe being the ex-communicated Samoan unfinished. This feels like the perfect time to complete that angle.
