#2 Update on John Cena's return plans

Cena
Cena

John Cena faced Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 36 in what rumors are suggesting could have been his last match. However, SportsKeeda's Tom Colohue has reported that there are no plans for Cena to retire anytime soon, and the former 16-Time World Champion is just a phone call away from returning.

We should be reading that into it because that's what he wants us to read into it but this is not John Cena's technical retirement match. John Cena will only ever be as retired from the WWE as The Rock is retired from the WWE. At any time, he may get a phone call saying, 'Can you come back and out this person over?', and he'll absolutely do that.

Colohue further revealed that it was Cena who had lobbied to get involved at WrestleMania this year. Even though the company did not have anything planned for him, he still wanted to return and put someone over on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Even though the last image we saw of John Cena was one where he had disappeared, it looks like the former WWE Champion will be back soon enough.
