The Man defeated Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 36 to retain her RAW Women's Championship. Although many fans felt that Baszler may be walking out of 'Mania as the new Champion, WWE had other plans.

WrestleMania is known for the feel-good factor and it is mostly the babyface who picks up the win. However, in this particular case, it looks like the feud is far from over between the two.

Here is what Dave Meltzer of The Observer stated:

Whenever you do a finish like that, the idea is to protect the heel while the babyface sneaks over. That's exactly what this finish is.

He further stated how this was merely the first match among many to come:

It came across to me that this was hardly the finale. This is just the first match and they didn't want to change the title and it was a way to kind of like get a win without hurting Shayna. That's clearly what the design was.

Becky Lynch has become the longest reigning RAW Women's Champion as she has held the belt ever since WrestleMania 35.
