#2. Underwhelming later rounds

Overall, the quality of the draft picks had reduced quite a bit as the rounds went on. This was only expected as the top-tier talent is usually mentioned first. However, adding one top talent in the later rounds doesn't help the fact that it got rather underwhelming.
You could audibly hear the reactions getting softer as the night went on, but that doesn't mean that midcard drafts were less significant. There were quite a few rising superstars who were assigned as well and from WWE's point of view, they were left with no choice but to keep the last few rounds underwhelming as they had to present 5 rounds on RAW as compared to SmackDown's 3.
Either way, WWE should mix it up a bit more and perhaps throw in a few more top stars in the later rounds. It can add a nice element of unpredictability that hasn't been seen before. They could do it next time since they're trying different things.
