#4 Heavy Machinery forget how to do a hot tag

Tucker won't be main eventing SmackDown Live again for a while

The hot tag is something that is used in every tag team match following the double down. Basically, the heel will crawl to the corner first and tag in so that the face then gets a much bigger cheer when they finally make it to their corner because it's drawn out longer.

This week on SmackDown Live, Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler took on Heavy Machinery in the main event and following the double down, Tucker ignored his partner and tagged in before Dolph Ziggler. This means that the crowd was cheering when Ziggler came into the match, giving off a different story arch than the company would have wanted.

Tucker has been wrestling long enough to know how the hot tag works, but officials will have pointed this out to him after the match.
