The Shield faced Daniel Bryan, John Cena, and Sheamus in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match, which ended when The Wyatt Family interfered and attacked Cena, costing all three Shield members a shot at the WWE World title.

The rivalry grew further and the two factions faced each other at the PPV. A Sister Abigail helped Wyatt put Reigns down and win the match for his team, in what many think was a match that deserved to take place at WrestleMania 30.

Lesnar vs Bryan
Mere days before the Survivor Series PPV, AJ Styles defended his WWE title against Daniel Bryan on SmackDown Live. The finish saw Bryan turning heel by attacking Styles with a low blow and win the WWE title in shocking fashion. The inter-brand match at Survivor Series was now changed to Lesnar vs Bryan.

The match put the fans to the edge of their seats, as Bryan used his heelish tactics in the match and almost pulled off a victory against The Beast. Somehow, Lesnar managed to hit a thunderous F-5 on Bryan and win the match.
