#1: Mike Tyson sparked a massive brawl against Chris Jericho at the end of the episode
What strikes me as odd and interesting is that WWE RAW ended with a similar brawl between Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley this week. AEW managed to accomplish the same in a more newsworthy way, especially with names like Mike Tyson and Chris Jericho involved.
The Inner Circle gathered around for a self-pity party after losing to The Elite at AEW Double or Nothing.
Despite all the gifts, what Jericho really wanted was to beat up Mike Tyson. Apparently, his bitterness against Tyson goes way back to 2010, when the boxing legend betrayed Chris Jericho in a tag team match on WWE RAW, and Le Champion has the opportunity to get revenge after Tyson's latest appearance at Double or Nothing.
So to continue this storyline on AEW is purely surreal.
It looks like Mike Tyson has more business to do with the company. Perhaps that business will lead to an inter-promotional match between Jericho and Tyson, and for better or worse, this may certainly go down as one of the biggest turning points in AEW history.
