#3: Brodie Lee targeted Jon Moxley for an AEW World Title match
Jon Moxley returned to live-action as he faced SCU's Frankie Kazarian in a singles match this week.
The AEW World Champion had a decent bout with Kazarian, where both of them embraced a mat-based strategy for most of it.
Tony Schiavone was pretty vocal about the fact that he appreciated the mat-based approach in a show where Superstars rely on high-flying spots a lot. As expected, Moxley picked up the victory here, but the celebration was cut short when Dark Order minions attacked him out of nowhere.
SCU couldn't save the AEW World Champion alone, as Moxley fell victim to the numbers game. Brodie Lee came out soon and threatened Moxley to accept his challenge. The challenge was for Moxley to put his AEW World Title on the line against The Exalted One.
With a smirk, Moxley accepted the challenge for Double or Nothing, even though nobody could save him from the one-sided attack.
Some fans think this is too early for a Brodie-Moxley feud, but from a broader perspective, The Dark Order needed a stamp of legitimacy, and Moxley needed a real challenge to make his AEW title reign interesting at the same time.
It looks like Jon Moxley and Brodie Lee were destined to collide on last night's episode.
