#2: Nyla Rose returned to action this week
Britt Baker has carried the AEW Women's Division ever since the empty arena shows began.
But with AEW switching back to live content this week, Nyla Rose returned to action in a singles bout last night. She battled a young Kenzie Paige and established her dominance by completely overwhelming the relatively unknown competitor.
AEW also aired a video that re-introduced a few legitimate competitors for the AEW Women's World Title. Britt Baker, Kris Statlander, Hikaru Shida, and Penelope Ford continue to be the most recurring names when it comes to facing Nyla Rose in the future.
Now that Nyla Rose is back, AEW can shift some focus back to re-building their Women's Division. With the Double or Nothing Pay-Per-View inching closer every day, Nyla Rose could defend her title against any one or all of the aforementioned names from AEW's female roster.
Interestingly, both AEW and WWE's top female champions (Nyla Rose and Becky Lynch) had been missing in action for a while, and with their absence, stars like Britt Baker and Asuka have grabbed the opportunity to showcase themselves as stand-outs from the rest of their peers.
