#4: Darby Allin defeated Sammy Guevara in an impressive showing
Darby Allin has had a personal vendetta against The Inner Circle's Sammy Guevara ever since their paths crossed in AEW.
Before their bout could even begin, Allin's vendetta against Guevara got out of hand. The attack ended with Sammy Guevara performing an enthralling 630 senton from the top rope that drove Allin through a table at ringside.
The actual match began right after and only lasted 5 minutes. Technically, this was the shortest match of the night, but it still ended up being a lot better than some of the other bouts on the card.
Both men are in their late 20s right now. This advantage allowed them to execute every sequence in rapid-fire succession last night. Allin won the match with a Coffin Drop, and Jake Hager rescued Sammy Guevara before any further damage could be done.
Darby Allin has formed a special connection with the audience. His anti-hero persona will surely reap several benefits in the future.
Allin vs. Guevara was a perfect example of how AEW matches with less TV time can be as effective as most of their bouts that go longer than 10 minutes.
