This was not only the best match of the night but if there is a contest worthy of the "Match of the Year" title at this stage, then it has to be Kenny Omega & Adam Page's Tag Team Title defense against The Young Bucks at AEW Revolution.

Kenny Omega has been on an upward swing recently. He was just a part of two amazing bouts within the span of a few days.

But what separates this particular Tag Team Match from the rest is that there was a succinct story at play underneath all of those insane spots.

"Hangman" Adam Page hasn't been on the same terms with The Elite for a while now, and this tension between him and The Young Bucks boiled down throughout this match.

This also affected The Young Bucks, who displayed their aggressive side against the Champions in a scenario where The Bucks got booed in contrast with Hangman's highly popular "Drinking Cowboy" gimmick.

After it was over, Adam also teased a turn against his Tag Team partner. Whether that happens over the next few weeks or not remains to be seen, but after this contest, it is apparent that the dynamic between both of these teams has changed for good.
