#1: Jon Moxley became the new AEW World Champion in a hard-fought battle against Chris Jericho
Jon Moxley faced Chris Jericho in the main event of the Pay-Per-View. Despite facing the wrath of The Inner Circle throughout the buildup to this match, Moxley overcame all odds and dethroned Chris Jericho as the top guy in AEW.
This was a natural transition to make at some point or another, and Moxley was the right wrestler to take over from Jericho.
After several interferences, Moxley didn't look as if he would be able to win the match in any way. This became apparent when Chris Jericho raked his good eye.
But when Moxley dodged the Judas Effect to deliver The Paradigm Shift, it was revealed that Moxley could see through the eyepatch all along. This was followed by another Paradigm Shift, and a new AEW World Champion was crowned.
Moxley cut a post-match promo and primarily thanked the fans that stood by his side from day one, bringing this title victory into existence in the first place.
From being Dean Ambrose in WWE to finally achieving top status as Jon Moxley, we can officially say that the Moxley Era has begun in AEW!
