#4: Drew McIntyre's successful title defense left Seth Rollins' character conflicted
We all knew that Drew McIntyre was most likely to retain his WWE title against Seth Rollins.
That is exactly what happened after both men put on a good contest. However, one of the more interesting aspects of their feud revolved around The Monday Night Messiah's 'big plan' in WWE.
Viewers hoped that WWE would pull the trigger on this storyline at Money in the Bank. Rollins debuted a new theme song, which made us believe that WWE may have fully invested in The Monday Night Messiah character right now.
But after the match was over, Rollins shook the WWE Champion's hands instead. This would have been a touching and sensible moment if Seth Rollins was a babyface, but we know that is not the case.
Perhaps Rollins was the one who got enlightened in the end. This would be ironic since it was Rollins who wanted to enlighten Drew all along. Whatever the case may be, WWE must pull the trigger on Rollins' character right away.
We simply can't go back to The Monday Night Messiah hinting towards his 'big plan' again. Otherwise, last night's post-match events won't make any sense from a character's perspective.
