But last night, Reigns addressed criticisms regarding The Big Dog jumping back to the main event scene.
He also vowed to destroy Goldberg and take back the Universal Title from the part-timer at WrestleMania 36.
This interview could have gone sideways in front of a live audience, which is why Reigns benefited a lot from answering fan criticisms in an empty Performance Center. The Big Dog looked comfortable as he finally addressed the elephant in the room.
It was only a matter of time until Reigns would climb back to the top spot he held in this company for several years.
In a year where a couple of WrestleMania feuds have grown organically, Reigns vs. Goldberg hasn't had an extensive buildup yet.
